Established in 1990, Sun Color adheres to the core values of Creativity,
Professionalism and Quality.
In the early years, Sun Color started out with publications of Art & Craft DIYs.
The unique creativity and new design successfully earned market recognition and
set the company on a solid foundation. The paper craft and kids' craft
DIYs series were used extensively by teachers for kids. At such, Sun Color is
considered synonymous with Art & Craft DIYs.
"Face changes and long-term planning" is considered as the strategy of publishers
committed to long term development. In 1999, Sun Color began to diversify
itself to become a composite publisher.
With the idea of "Appointment with Health", Sun Color embarked upon publications
in areas of beauty, health etc.. We aim to merge information on beauty and
health into every daily life. The Chinese medicine series and the Mook of
beauty are well received by the market.
As leisure is an integral part of modern day life, we have in recent
years produced a series on traveling. We have also initiated the series of
fashion magazine and Mooks. It consists of Mooks of classical brand such
as LV and Rolex. We also produced a new magazine entitled "BRAND" in 2004,
providing readers in Hong Kong and Taiwan the latest news of brands and world
trend.
In 2001, we began to develop the Chinese edition of foreign books authorized by
various foreign publishers. Abounding with creativities and colorful
illustrations, the product line provides stimulus on children's potential in
science, history and language. The product, earning the Company awards
from Government Information Office, Executive Yuen for outstanding books for
both junior and elementary student, stays for long periods on top of the selling
list of a number of the local bookstores, such as “Books”, “Page One”, “Eslite”
etc..
Rather than market size, Sun Color's principle on publishing is geared on
"delicacy" and "diligence".
